About
Crescential. What can I say about him? Well, this horse is beyond special. He has the appearance, attitude, and intelligence to do anything - but all he wants to do is run. Run and cause mayhem. There's nothing he enjoys more. Crescential is always called by his proper name, because he simply demands that sort of respect. He is the smartest horse I personally have ever seen. Too smart. He loves causing trouble, and although he is smart enough not to pull anything while galloping or during a race, he will not hesitate to buck, kick, or bite. Even though he can be quite unruly at times, he is by no mean an evil, killer horse. Besides his own temperament, he has the record to back up his status as a star. He's placed out of the money a mere 5 times in 33 starts. That's a true accomplishment in and of itself. So far he has one foal - a filly by the name of Screaming Mimi. Crescential passed on his unusual marking in a sense. While he has a crescent moon-shaped marking around his eye, Mimi has a perfect star in the center of her forehead. Mimi thinks she knows best in all situations, a trait she seems to have inherited from her sire, and she has a tendency for throwing temper tantrums. Besides this, Crescential has passed on a true yearning to run in his only filly, and he will hopefully continue to pass on these good traits.
Crescential is probably the best of all of my racehorses. From the time he started in his first race, he was something special. Most people will tell you the same. Perhaps he is not yet up to the caliber of Apache's Magic, but he is the kind of horse that will take your breath away. He is all heart on the race track, pouring his soul into everything he does. He won't give up, no matter what, and will fight for every stride just to get his nose in front. The one thing above all that stands out about him is his arrogance. He is a king in his world, he is the only one who deserves any attention. He is the best in his mind, and it's this self-confidence that shows through on the racetrack, and in fact in everything he does. The regal aura around him is obvious except for when he gets bored, which happens quite often. It's remarkable how he can go from being a king to a puppy, playing with the multiple toys and knick-knacks that are in his stall. He has jolly balls and such normal toys, but you can also see an old milk bottle, a soda can, and a very old boot floating around in there. He loves playing with them, and can somehow still manage to be arrogant and have an attitude while kicking them around. He'll carry around his jolly ball or milk jug, and then drop it to blast a challenge at Attitude, who is in a nearby paddock, and then pick up his toy and glare at the other stallion while shaking it around. He can spend a good amount of time, though, gliding up and down the fence, looking over his "kingdom" at Hawkstone. He makes sure that everyone knows his name and respects him, and he will continue to put his heart into everything he does - productive or otherwise - until the day he dies.
